With years of experience and a deep understanding of the management of community recreation centres, Benchmark has interim-managed the following facilities in the Calgary area.
Beddington Heights Community Centre
Project Scope: Benchmark, as the single-sourced contract operator, provided interim transition and operating services for the Beddington Heights Community Centre on behalf of the City of Calgary.
Services Provided: We provided the following: skilled administrative and maintenance staff, sustainable financial plan, risk management, daily operations of facility rentals, janitorial, security, life cycle, maintenance and repair.
Outcome: Successfully transferred community centre operations back over to the City of Calgary who in turn awarded a permanent license of occupation to Calgary Community Theatre Ltd.
Bowness Community Centre
Project Scope: Benchmark, as the single-sourced contract operator, provided interim transition and operating services for the Bowness Community Centre and Arena on behalf of the City of Calgary.
Services Provided: We provided the following to both the arena and community centre: skilled administration and arena staff, sustainable financial plan, risk management, daily operations of facility rentals, janitorial, security, community association organizational development, life cycle, maintenance and repair.
Outcome: Successfully transitioned the community centre and arena back over to the new Bowness Community Association.
